I want to be more like effy not completly change my personality, i know that's not right But my parents are SUPER contolling and protective. I lost lots of friends bc of that and I really want to know what effy would do.

I have a semiformal dance to go to, like it's formal but not necessarily prom formal, so I'm looking for something kind of short since that's less formal than a long dress.
