Bands simply cannot produce the same sound each album nowadays. They are forced to change it up. Why don't you guys just look up this album on Wikipedia, and find out who did clean vocals on this one. Things you see in the comments 1: people arguing if Austin does the dam clean vocals! I was with all of you that said Shayley sang in this but after doing my 3 minutes of research I found Austin does clean vocals for this song. See how 3 minutes made me realize I was wrong? I would consider myself a pretty avid listener of metal music and I can say with full confidence that the lead riff is one of the best metal guitar riffs I have ever heard. Which riff? Songs are composed of numerous riffs shared between the different guitarists. If it's a lead riff, it's obviously played by the lead guitarist. But which riff? The intro riff? Bridge riff? The verse, chorus, pre-chorus? You might infer the point where your original sentiment became confusing. Also, music and the attributes of a particular piece are entirely subjective to each interpretation. What you think is a brilliant riff, someone else might think it's pretty generic.

All relative to taste. If you prefer more rhythmic and progressive strumming patterns but with minor note variation and someone else prefers fast-paced solo work with plenty of sweeps and bends through multiple octaves of note values, you're almost guaranteed to have polar opposite ideas of what is a "sweet riff.

I love The Flood from start to finish, but am I the only one whose favorite song on the album is Ben Threw? That voice doesn't sound like Shayleys to me and Aaron wasn't part of the band yet when they recorded this album.

Austin sings the cleans in this backed by Shayley. Austin also does the backing cleans in Another you. Not to mention they did an acoustic set on warped this year and Austin pretty much sang feels like forever cleanly. I think this is Shay and Austin.
